We believe in fair labour, we believe in locally sourced organic materials, we believe in equal wages, we believe in reducing our carbon footprint, we believe in slow fashion, we believe in producing consciously, we believe in sustainability and clothing that doesn't hurt the planet, the people who make it or the people who use it.

Our brand partners are fighting in the frontlines of the fashion revolution, making an effort to produce high-quality alternatives for sustainable fashion. These brands are battling for responsible garments in an industry led by fast fashion chains. They prove that this industry doesn't need to destroy the planet in order to provide the clothing we need. And we stand by them every step of the way.

HOW DO WE SELECT BRAND PARTNERS

At Clovereed we are constantly looking for brands whose missions align with our own. 

 

These brands are socially responsible, empowering their workers, paying a fair wage, and making an effort to improve the communities that surround their business.

​

They are environmentally responsible, paying attention to sustainable production processes, sourcing their materials locally, ensuring their products last for a long time, and/or making the effort to breathe new life into recycled or upcycled goods. Basically, these brands think outside the box to keep the planet clean and safe for all of us.

​

Before featuring a brand and its products in Clovereed, we first get into contact with the brand and go back and forth with documentation, asking the questions that help us decide if they are a fit for the marketplace. We pay attention to any certifications these brands may have, without basing ourselves solely on them, but also on our own research and interviews.  We inquire about their mission, values and details of their processes to ensure sustainability, because we take this seriously and because we understand that not every brand has equal access to certifications yet.

BUT, WE COULD ALWAYS USE YOUR HELP

The brands we would love to feature don't often have the resources of their not sustainable big-brand competition, and as such, are not always easy to find.
